Many consumers have heard the name LoJack and immediately thought of vehicle security, but some consumers may still wonder what the company provides.
LoJack Corporation is responsible for early innovation in the stolen vehicle recovery market using technology and working closely with public safety officers. The company's Stolen Vehicle Recovery System operates in 27 states and the District of Columbia. It also has a presence globally.
Now, LoJack is teaming up with a nationally recognized insurance company to help see that consumers with motorcycles don't wind up victims of theft.
The insurance company and LoJack duo is offering motorcycle riders a rebate on a recovery system and once installed riders can get a discount on their insurance premium.
Although the discounts are not available in all states, the offer of stolen vehicle tracking protection coupled with insurance premium savings could be a sweet offer for motorcycle owners, especially since the National Insurance Crime Bureau reports over 60,000 stolen motorcycles last year.
