Our responsibility is to create the best experiences for both our clients and employees within the company. We strive to exceed the expectations for our project and to lead by example.
Your Key Responsibilities:
In the Product Analyst role, we will ask that you take ownership over a few of the new and emerging products at NetQuote. At first, you will be working closely with one of the members of the Product Marketing team. As time goes on, there will be many opportunities to take on your own products and see them through the product cycle.
- Take ownership and become the guru of our CRM & Telephone system.
- Understand usability; your processes and solutions should be easy for the end user to pick up and use.
- You are the cool geek; you will be working with business and technical resources every day to move projects to completion.
- The answer is in your head; you will need to create business requirements for our technical team to build your solution.
- You have the solution and plan, now be able to work with the team and get your product out to production.
- You have built the best now prove it through reporting how your products have change the KPIs of the business.
Job Requirements
- The Student – have the thirst for knowledge. In the beginning you should try to learn as much as you can about how NetQuote operates, and how an insurance agent works. Looking out for new web trends and what the most popular sites are doing.
- The Guru – become the expert of your products. Have the knowledge of the ins and outs of the products you manage. Be able to answer questions on what your product does and how it does it.
- The MVP – be able to take a leadership position within the team. Be able to work with all members of your team for the success of the project. Continually strive to get better at what you do.
- The Inspector – find the answers to questions. Every day you will face questions with no answer, your job will be to find or create those answers.
- The Visionary – design and build with the long term view in mind. What is the industry calling for, what can NetQuote to do solve this issue, how can we do it better than our competition. It is easy to build something for today; we challenge you to build something that can be used for years.
- The Master – over time you will be able to apply what you know about our business, the web, and our market to take products through the entire product life cycle.
- Education – Bachelors in Marketing, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Years of Experience – 1-3 years of experience
- Analytical – must be able to identify the issue and solve it
- Articulate – ability to clearly write and state how something should work
- MS Office Suite – familiar with Word, PPT, and Excel
- Learner – have to be willing to learn from others and to self teach
- Motivated – do what is right to do your job
- Plus but not required – web development/design experience, online experience (search, email, display), call center experience
